I have gambled on millions of rounds of blackjack. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost a lot of funds at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it almost impossible to defeat the game.

I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get loaded with this method or defeat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that 21 appears to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I play basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original sum.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very fun at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a number of years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this technique! And a few days ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You need to understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the runs you witness wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.

Bet $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original $5 bet

Wager five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager

Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar

Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager

Wager 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $40

Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 40 dollar wager

Bet forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager

Bet $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar

Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet

If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!

It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
