I have enjoyed millions of rounds of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have bet on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent an abundance of funds at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it nearly impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that 21 seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy 21. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this tactic! And a few days ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the runs you notice wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager five dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the initial 5 dollar wager
Bet $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10
Bet ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial ten dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 wager
Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet
Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Bet $160
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $160 bet
If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s iffy to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
