I have gambled on millions of hands of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost a lot of cash at 21. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This method is centered on the fact that 21 seems to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a few years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this technique! And a number of months ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.

Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager
Bet $5
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original $10 bet
Bet $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first $20 wager
Bet 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar wager
Bet 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $80
Wager eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
