I have played countless of hands of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have played online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it basically impossible to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have wagered on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely thrilling at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a couple of years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this technique! And a number of months ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the runs you notice playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Bet 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $5 wager
Bet five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original $10 wager
Wager $10
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $20 wager
Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $40
Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
