I have bet on countless of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have played online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of bankroll at 21. The gambling dens have made it nearly impossible to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this tactic or beat the house, however you will have an abundance of fun. This method is based on the idea that 21 appears to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy 21. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very exciting sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this method! And a couple of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You must comprehend that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the runs you see playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.

Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of $20
Bet 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet
If you left at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
