I have played countless of hands of twenty-one. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of money at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or beat the house, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely thrilling at times. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a number of years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the runs you notice gamble this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.

Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first $5 wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10
Bet 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager
Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 wager
Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original $80 wager
Wager $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!
It’s iffy to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
