I have played countless of rounds of blackjack. I started working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of funds at twenty-one. The gambling dens have made it almost impossible to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that 21 seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets very fun sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years back with $750 after 20 mins using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the runs you witness gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Bet 5 dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original $5 bet
Bet $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager $10
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of $20
Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original $20 wager
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager
Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 1 hundred and 60 dollar wager
If you departed at this point you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It’s difficult to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
