I have gambled on countless of hands of twenty-one. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have gambled on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this method or beat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is founded on the idea that blackjack appears to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very exciting on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years back with $750 after 20 mins using this tactic! And a few months ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the runs you notice betting this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.
Bet $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Bet five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10
Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial one hundred and 60 dollar bet
If you departed at this point you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
